My name is Rachel and I look forward to welcoming you to my little slice of heaven in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Initially, I came to Australia from the UK to participate in Operation Raleigh before later returning to apply for immigration. My career has been wonderfully varied, including roles as a programmer, IT trainer and primary school teacher.

I have also enjoyed casual work in television commercials and local amateur theatre productions in Nambour.

​

As a licensed volunteer wildlife carer, I often have orphaned wildlife in care and am always happy to share my knowledge and experiences with guests interested in Australia’s unique native animals.

I am also a volunteer with the local SES and the Mapleton and Kureelpa Rural Fire Brigades.
