Mapleton Springs Terms & Conditions

  • No Smoking on the property.

  • Check in time from 2.00pm. 

  • Check out time is before 10:00am.

  • When checking in, guests who have booked and paid for accommodation will be required to present photographic proof of identity for security reasons e.g. Drivers Licence or passport.

  • It is suggested that guests obtain travel insurance to cover cancellations, loss of deposits, medical and other emergencies.

  • Guests are responsible to pay for damage, loss or theft from Mapleton Springs.

  • Mapleton Springs is a non-smoking environment.

  • Minimum number of nights bookings may apply, subject to reservation date.

  • Mapleton Springs is an Adults-only retreat. No guests under the age of 18 are permitted to stay.

  • It is the responsibility of guests to ensure that the property of Mapleton Springs is left in a clean, tidy and acceptable condition, with all dishes, glasses, cutlery etc. put away in drawers and cupboards.

  • Guests credit card details are stored by the computerised reservation system and the owners of Mapleton Springs reserve the right to debit any  amounts outstanding for purchases of food and beverages, extra cleaning required, or charges incurred as a result of damage, theft or loss. 

  • In the event that any property is damaged maliciously, or beyond normal wear and tear, or in the event that property belonging to Mapleton Springs is lost or taken during the course of the stay, management reserves the right to charge the reasonable cost for repair or replacement of that property to the guest, and in that regard, the guest acknowledges that the charge may be debited from the credit card or charge facility used for payment of the booking.

  • The property is situated in a quiet area and as a courtesy to our neighbours, your booking is accepted on the express condition that there is no disturbance after 10pm. 

  • No parties to be held on the property and there shall only be the guests whose names are on the registration form permitted   on the property.

  • No pets allowed.

  • Lost property is held for 3 months. It is the responsibility of the guest to contact Mapleton Springs owners to claim lost property. On  request, lost property will be returned COD via Australia Post or other arrangements agreed by Mapleton Springs.

COVID-19

  • A requirement for COVID-19 regulations, requires that ALL guests produce identification and proof of address. 

  • If you display any signs of COVID-19 you cannot check in to Mapleton Springs. COVID-19 symptoms include; cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue and shortness of breath. 

  • To receive a full refund due to COVID-19 symptoms, a doctors letter will need to be presented to the owners of Mapleton Springs as evidence that you have just been tested for COVID-19. 

  • If the staff at Mapleton Springs experience any symptoms of COVID-19, we will be required to close the business. In this instance a full refund will be provided. If the government requires accommodation places to close, a full refund will be provided.

  • It is the guests responsibility to read all terms and conditions of their booking.

 

Payment Policy

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars, unless specified.

  • We accept VISA & MASTERCARD and have no additional charges. For all other cards accepted, including American Express, Diners Club, JCB and Union Pay  there will be an additional 2.95% fee charged to your card. 

  • To secure your reservation we require a deposit of 50% of the total price after reservation.  The balance is then required two weeks before arriving.

  • All rates are firm at the time of deposit unless bookings are made more than 6 months in advance, in which case they are subject to rate increases.

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and only transferable once the room has been re-let.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation must be in writing, with a reply from us to confirm receipt of cancellation.

  • Cancellations with more than 14 days written notification from reservation date: are subject to the room re-letting. If the room is re-let a full refund will be provided. If the room remains empty, then a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

  • Cancellations 14 days or less from check in date, or a no show, i.e. no arrival by 9 pm (unless organised); are subject to the room re-letting. If the room is re-let a full refund will be provided. If the room remains empty, no refund will be provided.

 

COVID-19
